Playdate!!

This morning, the kiddo's and I had a playdate!!

I am super excited about this for several reasons.

First, it's been months since Turner has been to a friend / cousin's house. He was excited to play in a different house with his friend and with toys other than his own.

Second, this was an opportunity to get Lauren out of the house. Since I am a SAHM of three children, she doesn't get out and about very often. Most of the time our bi-weekly trip to the library is the only time she ever goes any place. I was excited for her to leave her normal environment and interact with other kids in a place that was unfamiliar.

Third, I love watching my children interact with other kids outside of our home. It gives me an idea of who they are what their personalities are like when they aren't at home with Mom and Dad.

Last, I enjoy talking to other Mom's about how we are parenting our kids. We can really learn from each other by letting each other into our most personal space and see how we interact / entertain / teach our kids.

The kids had a wonderful time.
I had a wonderful time.

It made for a really fun day for all of us.

I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. It was difficult to make time for photography when I was holding Tyler and trying to help keep watch over the kids.
